Chapter One
All was calm in the small city of Amity Park as a small black car pulled into a close by driveway. The taillights flashed off as the engine stuttered and stopped. A young couple climbed out either side of the car. Two doors slammed shut and one door opened. The young man’s head disappeared into the back seat of the car, while the woman opened the trunk, effortlessly pulling out two duffle bags. She closed the trunk and approached the young man. “Do you need any help?”
“No, I’ve got it.” he said, a hint of frustration in his voice.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.” She watched as he struggled to remove a car seat from the back seat. Giving up, he unbuckled the car seat, which proved almost as difficult, and gently lifted a small bundle from the car. “See, everything is under control.” She rolled her eyes at him and smiled. He closed the door and they headed inside the small house.
The woman discarded the duffle bags at the door and followed her husband up the stairs. They reached the top of the stairs to face a bedroom the evening sun soaked the light blue walls and splashed onto the royal blue carpet.
They turned and walked down the hall into a nursery. They were greeted with the bright rays of the evening sun. Almost unanimously, they both shielded their eyes, the man pulling the bundle closer to him.
Cautiously, the woman made her way past her husband who was still been standing in the doorway with his eyes shut tight, with her left hand still guarding her soft violet eyes. She pulled the curtains closed.
“Aw that’s much better!” the man exclaimed as he lowered his hand to its original position wrapped around the bundle he was holding.
“He’s not awake is he, Danny?” asked his wife averting her gaze to the blanket.
Danny slowly pulled the blanket away. Peering down with his cool blue eyes, he watched as a once hidden face become visible. Pulling the blanket back more, small wisps of raven black hair peaked out from under a light yellow beanie and revealed the sleeping newborn baby.
“Nope he’s still sound asleep Sam.” He replied with a smile.
“That’s good, well I guess we better put him to bed before he wakes up.”
“Aww, do we have to?” He asked, glancing down at the sleeping baby.
“Yes Danny.” Sam replied smiling. She reached out to take the bundle from his arms, but he pulled away from her, bringing their son closer to himself. “Danny,” she sighed and rested her hands on her hips.
“Alright.” He handed the baby to Sam and she placed him in the crib. She kissed the baby’s forehead and headed back over to Danny. He put his arm around her waist and they headed back to their room.
Sam flopped down on the bed while Danny closed the curtains. He sat down next to her, leaning back against the pillows. Sam leaned up against him, closed her eyes, and yawned.
“Sam?” Danny asked suddenly, staring blankly at the wall.
“Yes?”
“My powers…”
“What about them?”
“Should we tell him?”
“Who?”
“Billy.” Sam readjusted herself so she could see Danny.
“Do you want to tell him?” Danny sighed.
“I don’t know. Part of me does, but the other part thinks it’s a bad idea.”
“Well, no one's forcing you to tell him Danny.”
“I know, but-”
“Look, if you don’t want to tell him, then don’t.”
“Yeah, I guess. Just promise me you won’t say anything to him either.”
“I promise.” replied Sam, closing her eyes. Danny yawned and sunk down a bit. His ears strained to hear if the baby was crying, but all he could hear was silence. Satisfied, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The day was already done and Kakashi and his group were heading home forma day of "hard" missions.
"You 3 are really working well together. You'll be doing class C tasks on a regular basis in no time." Kakashi winked.
The triad each had their own response, Sakura smiled, Naruto beamed, but Sasuke just grunted.
"What's wrong Sasuke? I thought you wanted to get away from rescuing pets and babysitting..." Kakashi said, "I thought you'd be happy to hear that you three are greatly improving."
Sasuke added, "As a team we're improving, but I don't feel like I'm improving as an individual..."

What Does Thomas Mean To You?
What does that name make you think about? Does it make you think about the Railway Series stories that a popular television series is based on? Does it make you think about your anger at a company that is being accused of using a franchise to leach money from our pockets? Or does it simply make you think of a famous little blue engine?
I think about all of this when I hear that name. But I also think of one other thing: myself. I'm not sure why, but I feel as though Thomas is one of the most important things in my life, discarding my friends and family, my Tamagotchis, and among other things.
I was born years ago, not saying what year thoug

A Prime Time
In a storage room of the Ark, Optimus Prime was annoyed. "Who gave this Energon a high charge rate?" he asked the assembled group of Autobots. "You know it causes Transformers to act exactly like humans who drink alcohol."
"If we tell you... Can we have some more?" asked Bumblebee's overly happy voice.
"Naw little buddy, you're charged. No more Energon for you." came Ironhide's south American drawl.
"So are you! And you had less to drink then I did!" Bumblebee said defensively.
"Oh yeah? That's fightin' talk where I come from, lil' guy! C'mon Optimus, lets rotate this guy's drive-train!" Ironhide said, glancing at Optimus and b
